Our client in the professional services space are eagerly seeking an experienced payroll leader to join the organization
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Compensation the candidate will be expected too;
- oversee day to day payroll operations for the organization for 1000+ employees
- manage 2 direct payroll administrators
- lead year end payroll activities including annual T4s, T4As, RL1s and 1099s
- manage annual vacation reconcilation, payroll remittances and GL reporting
- strong payroll tax compliance knowledge across multiple provinces including QC and ability to act as organizations subject matter expert
- work in close partnership with leadership across Finance, HR, Compensation & Pension
- ability to communicate with external auditors and act as first point of contact
- UKG Pro HRIS systems knowledge and ability to partner with internal HRIS SME to make recommendations for change
- PCP or PLP certification is considered highly desirable
- previous leadership experience is considered ideal

- 90,000 to 118,000 per anum
