      Portfolio Payroll Canada is looking for detail-driven and knowledgeable Payroll Specialist to step into a pivotal Temporary role supporting our busy client located in Stoney Creek, Ontario. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy managing the ins and outs of payroll across Canada, this opportunity is for you!

      Please note this is a hybrid role that will require being in the office Monday and Friday’s each week with the exciting opporutnity to work from home on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday’s!

      Responsibilities will include:

      • Processing full-cycle payroll for multiple clients across Canada, ensuring accuracy across multiple provinces.

      • Managing an in-house payroll of 300 employees (mix of Canadian and US, though US experience is not required).

      • Representing as the go-to Payroll expert within a collaborative Payroll Team.

      • Utilizing Workzoom as the primary payroll platform, with QuickBooks for invoicing and other tasks.

      • Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial legislation while navigating the complexities of multi-jurisdictional payroll.

      • Bringing expertise in Quebec payroll (a strong asset) to support operations across multiple provinces.
