      Role: US Tax Analyst

      Job Description:

      We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable US Payroll Tax Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, while supporting payroll operations through accurate tax reporting and reconciliation.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.

      • Prepare and file payroll tax returns and payments timely.

      • Reconcile payroll tax accounts and respond to tax notices.

      • Maintain and update employee tax data and jurisdictional setups.

      • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to resolve payroll tax issues.

      • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze large data sets, automate processes, and support audits.

      • Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders.

      Qualifications:

      • Proven experience in US payroll tax processing and compliance.

      • Strong understanding of multi-state and local tax requirements.

      • Understanding of setting up new entities in US states
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

      • Familiarity with payroll systems and tax filing platforms is a plus.

      • Previous experience with Dayforce considered an asset
      • Year end payroll experience with T4s, W2s etc.
