US Payroll Specialist (Contract)
Location: Mississauga, ON
Type: Full-Time | Contract (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
Our client, a well-established aviation company, is seeking a US Payroll Specialist to join their growing team in Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional with strong Canadian and US payroll expertise looking to contribute to a dynamic and expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a 3-month temp-to-perm contract with potential for long-term placement
- Process full-cycle payroll for 600 Canadian employees and 300 US employees
- Manage Canadian payroll using ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and US payroll using Paycom or Paychex
- Handle bi-weekly payroll cycles
- Process year-end tasks, time & attendance, garnishments, reconciliations, and T4s
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of payroll across both regions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll and benefits experience
- PCP Certification required
- Hands-on experience with ADP WFN, Paycom, or Paychex
- Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll and year-end reporting
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and advanced formulas
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities
