Role: Senior Bilingual Payroll Specialist
Location: Toronto (downtown) or Montreal (downtown)
Hybrid – 4 days onsite
Our client is a large national retailer that is eagerly looking to grow their payroll division with an experienced senior payroll specialist who is fluent in both verbal and written french and english
Reporting directly to the Director of Payroll, the ideal candidate for this role will be:
- fluent in both english and french
- experienced processing full cycle payroll for high volume environments (700+)
- multiprovincial expertise with: ON, BC, QC, MB, AB etc.
- strong compliance knowledge for provincial and federal payroll rules and regulations
- supporting the payroll supervisor and analysts with the end to end processing
- Workday payroll systems knoweldge is considered a highly favourable asset for this role
- strong year end compliance knoweldge with T4s, remittances, reconciliation and monthly audits
- comfortable with payroll journal entries and GL reporting
- supporting systems work on Workday, developing SOPs etc.
- PCP or PLP certification considered an asset
