      Payroll Supervisor – Hybrid | Waterloo, ON
      Large Manufacturing Organization

      We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Waterloo to find a Payroll Supervisor to lead day-to-day payroll operations and manage a team of four Payroll Administrators. This is a high-impact role within a large, fast-paced environment offering 50% hybrid flexibility.

      What You’ll Be Doing

      • Overseeing full-cycle payroll for a large employee population within a manufacturing setting

      • Leading, mentoring, and performance managing a team of 4 direct reports

      • Reviewing and validating payroll entries, deductions, and reconciliations

      • Building advanced Excel reports to support finance and operations

      • Driving process improvements, automation, and internal controls

      • Acting as the key point of contact for escalations, audits, and compliance matters

      • Partnering closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee data flow

      What We’re Looking For

      • 4 to 7 years of progressive payroll experience

      • Previous experience managing or mentoring a payroll team

      • Advanced Excel skills – pivots, v-lookups/x-lookups, large data manipulation

      • Unionized environment payroll experience in a mid to large organization

      • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, controls, and best practices

      • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

      • PCP/CPM designation is an asset
