A leading manufacturing company based in Montreal (Pointe Claire) is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their payroll team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and is fluent in French.
Key Responsibilities
-
Process payroll for 500+ employees across multiple pay cycles (weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly)
-
Manage multi-provincial payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance
-
Handle government remittances, including CRA, WCB, WSIB, and EHT
-
Maintain accurate employee payroll records and resolve discrepancies
-
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations
Qualifications
-
4+ years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment
-
PCP Certification (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) required
-
Proficiency with any payroll software (ADP, Workday, Ceridian, etc.)
-
Strong knowledge of multi-provincial payroll legislation
-
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, reporting)

Excellent organizational and communication skills
-
Fluent in French (written and spoken)
