Portfolio Payroll Canada is offering an exciting opportunity for a detail-orientated and professional Payroll Specialist with our North York Client. Please note that this is a Temporary role with the possibility for a long-term position.
Responsibilities will include processing and managing full-cycle payroll for employees, maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring compliance and preparing/distributing pay statements while ensuring proper documentation. You will be the subject mater expert in the organization on payroll legislation, systems, and best practices. The position will require you to lead payroll audits, reconciliations and resolve any issues as well as collaborating with each department in the company.
Qualifications will include a minimum of 5+ years of payroll experience and proficient in payroll software, preferably ADP Workforce Now. PCP certification is an asset and exceptional attention to detail, advanced excel skills with strong problem-solving skills are required.
