Role: Payroll Specialist
Location: Toronto (accessible by transit)
Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite
Duration: 6 months – strong likelihood of extension
We’re currently hiring a Payroll Specialist for a 6-month contract opportunity (High Chance of Extension). This role is ideal for someone with strong full-cycle payroll experience and a solid background working with payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on time for 200+ employees
- Provincial expertise with ON and QC
- Handle payroll reconciliations and support General Ledger postings
- Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and system issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and Dayforce (must-have)
- Strong understanding of full-cycle payroll processing
- PCP designation preferred
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
