Role: Payroll Coordinator
Location: Woodbridge
Hybrid role – 3 days onsite (flexible days and hours)
Our long term client is looking to grow their payroll division and seeking an experienced, high volume payroll professional to join the organization.
Reporting directly to the Payroll Director – the ideal candidate will:
- Process full cycle biweekly payroll for 600+ multi-provincial canadian employees (experience with QC payroll is considered a strong asset for this role)
- Comfortability working with a team to support complex payroll processing
- System knowledge with UKG Ultipro is a strong asset for this role
- Strong compliance knowledge for provincial and federal legislation
- Understanding of payroll journal entries, GL reporting for payroll
- Union payroll processing experience – understanding of working with CBAs, deductions etc.
- Year end T4 processing experience
- Confident communicator, able to respond to employee inquiries regarding their pay etc.
- PCP certification is considered an asset
