      Role: Payroll Coordinator

      Location: Downtown Toronto (2x a week)

      Our global client is seeking an experienced US payroll professional to join their payroll team

      Responsibilities:

      • support the payroll manager with and payroll specialist
      • 1-3 years of payroll experience, preferably with US payroll
      • Audit employee payroll changes on the database
      • review and reconcile tax reports for each pay period
      • communicate with tax agencies as needed, including CRA, Revenue Quebec, Service Canada, IRS, U.S. State agencies
      • ensure accurate calculation, withholding, and remittance of federal, state/provincial, and local payroll taxes
      • collaborate with HR & Finance to address cross-border payroll tax issues
      • Support internal and external audits
      • PCP or CPP certification is considered an asset
      • strong excel skills
