      Payroll & Benefits Coordinator

      Compensation: $68,500 – $80,000

      About the Opportunity

      Our client is a well-established and highly respected organization seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to manage stand-alone payroll operations across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys full ownership of payroll and benefits administration.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Full-cycle weekly union and bi-weekly salaried payroll processing

      • Manage payroll in ADP Workforce Now (Jonas Premier experience considered an asset)

      • Process new hires, terminations, rate changes, bonuses, deductions, employer contributions, and union updates

      • Review and validate timesheets for accuracy and compliance

      • Administer statutory remittances including Source Deductions, EHT, WSIB, and union dues

      • Oversee RRSP and benefits administration (enrollments, terminations, life changes, reporting)

      • Complete mid-year and year-end reconciliations

      • Prepare T4 slips, T4 Summary, WSIB Annual Returns, and EHT Annual Returns

      • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries

      • Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and operational teams

      • Support ad-hoc reporting and payroll analysis

      Qualifications

      • 3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience in a mid-sized or multi-entity organization

      • Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation (CRA, WSIB, EHT, year-end reporting)

      • Experience with ADP Workforce Now required

      • Union payroll experience preferred

      • Benefits and RRSP administration experience

      • PCP certification considered an asset

      • High attention to detail and strong confidentiality standards

      • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
