Role: Payroll Analyst
Location: Markham ON
our client is looking to hire a senior payroll analyst who can support the end cycle of payroll for a high volume multi-provincial environment
Responsibilities
-
Source deduction remittances and reconciliation to CRA, WSIB/WCB, Employer Health tax (multi-province)
-
Third party remittances (such as Monthly Union remittances and reporting, Garnishments etc)
-
Administer and reconcile taxable benefit recording and processes
-
Respond to CRA and Service Canada requests (such as PIER, Business Payroll Surveys, Request for payroll information etc)
-
Resolve/Coordinate resolution of Payroll Journal errors
-
Internal and External Audit support
-
Year-end process support (T4, Releve1 and T2200’s)
-
Liase with Finance on Payroll related items/reconciliation/reporting
-
Back up for Payroll Processing
You
- PCP or PLP certification from teh National Payroll Institute
- Advanced excel skills
