Portfolio Payroll is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team and support payroll operations within a dynamic electronics and engineering company. Responsibilities:
Process payroll accurately and on time for salaried, hourly, and contract engineering staff across various departments and project sites
Handle payroll data entry, timesheet verification, and assist with tracking overtime, bonuses, and allowances specific to the engineering sector
Ensure compliance with payroll policies, labor laws, and industry-specific agreements
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll queries and discrepancies
Maintain and update payroll records, preparing reports as needed for management and audits
Assist with payroll audits and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications:
2 to 5 years of payroll administration experience, preferably in electronics, engineering, or a related technical industry
Familiarity with payroll software such as Ceridian Dayforce,UKG Payroll
Good understanding of US payroll regulations and industry-specific payroll considerations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Hybrid role: 4 day in the office
