Portfolio Payroll Canada is looking for detail-driven and knowledgeable Payroll Specialist to step into a pivotal Temporary role supporting our busy client located in the area of Burlington Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the challenges of a fast-moving workplace and managing payroll complexities across Canada.
Please note this is a hybrid role that will require being in the office 2 days each week with the opportunity to work from home 3 days.
Responsibilities will include:
- Processing full-cycle payroll for multiple clients across Canada, ensuring accuracy across multiple provinces.
- Representing as the go-to Payroll expert within a collaborative Payroll Team.
- Utilizing Workzoom as the primary payroll platform, with QuickBooks for invoicing and other tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial legislation while navigating the complexities of multi-jurisdictional payroll.
- Bringing expertise in Quebec payroll (a strong asset) to support operations across multiple provinces.
