      Payroll Manager – Onsite

      Location: Vaughan, Ontario
      Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite

      About the Role

      We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage the payroll function in a high-volume environment. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a large workforce while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise with ADP systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to process improvement.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Manage and process end-to-end payroll for [number] employees in a high-volume environment using ADP.

      • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies.

      • Oversee payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting to maintain accuracy and integrity.

      • Lead and develop the payroll team, providing guidance and training as needed.

      • Act as primary point of contact for internal and external payroll inquiries, including tax agencies and auditors.

      • Drive process improvements, implement best practices, and leverage ADP functionalities for efficiency.

      • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate data integration and reporting.

      Qualifications

      • 5+ years of payroll experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership/management role.

      • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (or equivalent ADP platform) is required.

      • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements.

      • Proven ability to manage high-volume, multi-jurisdiction payrolls.

      • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

      • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
