Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize online payroll tools and apps to ensure smooth and accurate payroll processing for clients.
- Key tasks include running payroll on time, making adjustments (e.g., adding/removing employees, modifying deductions), handling T4 preparation, and submitting ROE forms.
- Address client inquiries related to payroll and payments, providing guidance and resolving issues; conduct data analysis as needed.
- Oversee full-cycle payroll processing for clients with various pay schedules.
- Handle EHT and WCB filings across different provinces.
- Review CRA accounts and respond to any notices received.
- Communicate with both clients and the bookkeeping team to ensure efficient service and a seamless experience.
Qualifications:
- PCP certification is required.
- Minimum of three years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment, handling payroll for organizations with numerous employees.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian payroll system, including withholding taxes, source deductions, benefits, T4 slips, ROE forms, and other related processes.
- Experience with payroll processing across various provinces (experience with Quebec is a bonus).
