      Role: Payroll and Benefits Specialist

      Location: Mississauga

      Working model: Primarily remote (1 day a week in office)

      A fast-paced and people-focused organization is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage Canadian payroll operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support benefits administration. This role supports approximately 500 employees

      Key Responsibilities

      • Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees

      • Conduct audits and manage payroll-related reporting

      • Ensure compliance with federal/provincial tax laws and benefits legislation

      • Administer RRSP/DPSP, WSIB, EHT, EI, and medical benefits

      • Collaborate with HR and Finance to maintain accurate records and systems

      • Provide employee support on payroll and benefits questions

      Qualifications

      • PCP certification (Canadian Payroll Association)

      • 3-5 years of payroll and compliance experience

      • Strong understanding of Canadian employment standards and payroll legislation

      • Proficiency in Payworks or ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Excel

      • Excellent communication and time-management skills
