Role: Payroll and Benefits Specialist
Location: Mississauga (5 days onsite)
Our client in the manufacturing and production industry is eagerly looking to further grow their payroll environment by adding to the Payroll/HR department.
Joining the exisiting team, the ideal candidate will:
- be comfortable processing full cycle payroll and benefits for 600+ employees across multiple locations in ON
- strong legislative compliance knowledge and remain up to date with payroll rules and regulations
- prior experience within hourly and salaried environments is considered an asset
- strong garnishments, deductions and reporting experience for WSIB, CPP, EI etc.
- year end experience with T4s, T4As, balancing etc.
- benefits knowledge and experience to support employee on/off boarding, deductions etc.
- union experience is considered an asset
- strong customer service – ability to answer employee queries, support cross functional departments, work alongside team members etc.
- team player, someone excited about getting involved!
- ADP WFN systems experience is considered an asset
- PCP certification is ideal
