Role: Payroll and Benefits Manager

Location: Mississauga – 2 days onsite after training

Our client working in the professional services space is eagerly looking to add an experienced full cycle payroll professional to the organization to own the payroll process

Overview/Responsibilties:

Experienced processing full cycle ON based payroll in a standalone position
5+ years of experience is ideal for this position
Systems experience with Dayforce is ideal
reporting to the Senior Manager of HR the ideal candidate will work closely alongside the HR department to process end to end payroll
previous experience managing biweekly payroll for 250+ employees – hourly and salaried
Benefits ownership experience – ability to work direclty with vendors, handling employee on and off boarding in the benefits portal etc.
reconcilaition and remittances for benefits premiums, payroll audits etc.
year end expertise is considered a must for this role
PCP or PLP certification is considered an asset
clear and concise communicator comfortable answering employee questions, liaising with benefit vendors etc.
some local travel is required for this role on a quarterly bases to various site locations

For you

base salary 75-85K based on experience
pension after 1 year
