As a HR Documentation Team Lead, you will play a key role in managing and guiding a team of Employment Documentation Consultants to ensure high-quality client service. You will be responsible for overseeing the development, review, and maintenance of employment documentation while ensuring compliance with Canadian employment law and HR best practices. Additionally, you will provide leadership, training, and performance management to your team, ensuring service excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Employment Documentation Consultants, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
- Oversee the creation, review, and updating of employment documentation in line with company policies, Canadian employment law, and best practices.
- Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery, meeting KPIs and client expectations.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and development plans for team members.
- Facilitate team meetings, training sessions, and coaching workshops to improve efficiency and knowledge-sharing.
- Address and resolve client escalations or complex documentation inquiries.
- Liaise with internal departments, including legal and HR advisory teams, to ensure compliance and alignment in documentation practices.
- Monitor workload distribution to ensure deadlines and service targets are met.
- Foster strong relationships with clients by delivering expert advice and high-quality documentation services.
- Implement process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance documentation services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Canadian employment law, HR policies, and industry trends.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CHRP designation is mandatory
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR documentation, employment law, or a related field
- Previous experience in a leadership or team management role is an asset
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law and HR best practices.
- Previous experience in a client facing role, ideally advising on HR matters.
