Assistant Payroll Manager – Bury – Permanent
Salary: up to £46,000
Job Summary
Portfolio Payroll are excited to be working alongside our an amazing forward thinking dynamic growing client based in Bury on the outskirts of Manchester to support them in the recruitment of an experienced Assistant Payroll Manager. Our client is looking to appoint a hands on operation manager to lead a team of Payroll executives and assistants. This is a fantastic role, managing a large and complex payroll with the opportunity to lead on projects. We are looking for skilled people managers with a comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing and UK & ROI payroll legislation.
Some of the duties include;
- Managaing a team of Payroll Processors as well as team leaders
- Supporting and mentoring team leaders to progression within the business
- Lead on projects including automation and TUPE
- Opportunity to drive process improvement and a culture of positivity
- Oversight of a team producing and accurate, timely and efficient payroll function
