      Role: Payroll Specialist

      Location: Markham

      Working model: Onsite

      Responsibilities:

      • Collaborate with the members of the payroll department to process full cycle multi-provincial payroll across Canada
      • reporting to the Payroll Manager and working alongside the payroll supervisor – the ideal candidate will be dedicated to learning new systems and processes
      • confident communicator able to liasie with employees and stakeholders alike
      • any systems experience aligns
      • ideal candidates will have had previous experience within unionized environments processing both hourly and salaried payroll
      • keen eye for detail to verify employee hours and verify payroll before it is posted
      • Strong understanding of provincial and federal legislative laws and how they impact payroll
      • PCP deisngation is considered an asset
